Marvel's Vision Quest: The Return of the Synthozoid Hero

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) continues to expand with Vision Quest, an upcoming Disney+ series that brings back one of its most intriguing characters—Vision. First introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Vision has undergone a remarkable evolution, from an AI-based creation of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, to a synthetic being capable of human-like emotions, to ultimately being destroyed in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). His complex narrative now continues in this new series, set to explore themes of identity, consciousness, and what it truly means to be human.

Vision Quest is rumored to focus on White Vision, the colorless version of the character introduced in WandaVision (2021). After Vision’s original body was reassembled and reactivated by S.W.O.R.D., he was left devoid of his memories and emotional connection to Wanda Maximoff. In the climactic finale of WandaVision, the original Vision—reconstructed by Wanda through chaos magic—restored White Vision’s memories.
